Requesting Medical Records with the update to HIPAA

June 25, 2024, a modification to the HIPAA privacy rule was finalized which protects reproductive healthcare right from legal action, with a compliance date of December 22, 2024. See the attached summary from AHIMA along with the Model Attestation Form.  Please reach out to the MAME executive committee with any questions.
