Professional Membership - $150/year
Professional membership in this association is open to physician county medical examiners, deputy medical examiners and pathologists who perform autopsies for county medical examiners or who are active in other areas of forensic pathology. Membership will be extended to persons holding a Doctorate Degree in an allied field related to medicolegal death investigation and with an established relationship to a medical examiner system. Professional members are eligible to attend all scientific, social and business sessions of the organization. All active professional members are eligible to vote and hold office within the Executive Committee.

Affiliate Membership - $25/year
Affiliate membership is open to individuals within the medical examiner system, such as Medical Examiner Investigators, who are interested in becoming a member of MAME, but are not eligible for professional membership. Affiliate members are eligible to attend all scientific, social and business sessions of the organization. All active affiliate members are eligible to vote and hold office within the Executive Committee.

Associate Membership - $75/year
Associate membership is open to individuals who are no longer affiliated with a medical examiner system. Physicians who are in an accredited training program are also eligible to apply for associate member status. Associate members are eligible to attend all scientific, social and business sessions of the organization, but are not eligible to vote or hold office.

Student Membership - $20/year
Student membership is open to anyone who is currently enrolled in a variety of programs. This includes, but not limited to: medical school, forensics, criminal justice, pathology, nursing, physician assistant, and police academy. Student members are eligible to attend all scientific, social and business sessions of the organization, but are not eligible to vote or hold office.
